New Chairman For BOSS Federationback to list

The BOSS Federation is pleased to announce the appointment of Alan Ball, Chief Executive Officer of Spicers UK & Ireland as the new Chairman of the Federation.
Confirmed at the Annual General Meeting held on 16 May at Stationers Hall in London Alan Ball takes over from Philip Beer, Managing Director of Hamelin Brands who will continue to serve as immediate past Chairman for one year. The meeting was preceded by a CEO Conference and Chairman's Luncheon which saw over 90 leaders of the industry in attendance.
Michael Gardner, BOSS Federation Chief Executive said, "We look forward to working with Alan as Chairman. Alan brings a fresh perspective to the industry as head of one of the two major wholesalers."
Alan said, "Over the next two years I will continue to drive the data on market statistics so that we can clearly and reliably measure the state of the market", he added, "I believe that over the last few years we have lost the ability to show local dealers where the value is in being members of the Federation. I will be working with the Board and the Federation in championing the recruitment of more local dealers and proving the significant worth that BOSS can deliver".
