Antalis completes its acquisition of Xerox' s western European office paper distribution business

Following the approval of the European competition authorities and an opinion from the relevant workers' councils, Antalis has finalised the agreement to purchase Xerox's Western European office paper distribution business.

Following the approval of the European competition authorities and an opinion from the relevant workers' councils, Antalis has finalised the agreement to purchase Xerox's Western European office paper distribution business.

 The transaction is expected to close at the end of October.

Xerox's Western European office paper distribution business represents around €300 million in annual sales.  The transaction will help Antalis strengthen its position in this segment and give it an exclusive license to market and distribute Xerox-branded paper in Western Europe.  The acquisition will boost Antalis' earnings as from 2014.

Antalis UK will issue further details of the acquisition when the transaction is fully complete.
