2023 Highlights

This year's theme for mental health awareness week is connecting to nature and the environment. 

Since the start of the global pandemic, the rise in people suffering sleeping problems has risen from one in six (15.7%) to one in four (24.7%) (2). Causes such as, an increase in worry, having to manage childcare, and routine changes since the pandemic began on 23 March 2020, have all contributed to this rise.

With severe flood warnings remaining in place, we’re seeing domestics evacuations and traffic disruption across the UK, which will impact on businesses also. 

As we continue to face the COVID-19 virus, it's clear that the responsibility of reducing the spread of the virus resides with all of us. You'll be aware that the NHS launched their COVID-19 App recently which holds many benefits.

With some businesses reopening, and most others scaling back up their operations in the coming weeks, our BOSS COVID-Secure Road Map sets the steps to take to ensure a safe transition from lockdown, highlighting the key points to consider as our industry moves towards 100% reopening in the aftermath of the pandemic.
