BOSS Members’ Day - Save the Date

BOSS Members' Day will take place in London on Thursday 12th October at the St Bride Foundation, London, which was founded in 1891 and is housed in a beautiful Grade II listed Victorian building. This annual event for senior delegates from BOSS member companies is a fantastic opportunity to connect with industry colleagues, discuss and debate the key challenges and opportunities for the Business Supplies sector and hear from insightful keynote speakers and prominent industry panellists.

Rethinking AI: Its impact on Business & Humanity

BOSS are delighted to announce their Keynote Speaker Dr Daniel Hulme. Daniel is the CEO of award-winning AI solutions company Satalia, Chief AI Officer for WPP, and Director of University College London’s Business Analytics Master’s degree. He looks at how Artificial Intelligence (AI) and emerging technologies, such as the metaverse, can solve the

most challenging problems, and deals with its business, ethical and social implications, as well as wider technological and economic developments.

Daniel will provide BOSS members with a radically new framework for how people should think about AI (especially Generative AI), with entertaining examples and anecdotes, giving particular consideration to how AI can assist companies in our sector to support their customers with the massive changes in the working world post pandemic.

He will discuss how organisations can practically adopt these technologies and avoid being seduced by the hype. He argues that whilst these technologies are incredible at creating growth and streamlining operations, for companies to stay innovative they need to also use AI to unlock the creative capacity of their workforce. Daniel will also cover the macro impact these technologies may have over the coming decades, and suggests that it's within the gift of enterprise to make a better future for everyone.

Late Lunch and Networking

After a packed conference agenda BOSS will welcome attendees to the Humble Grape, which is hidden in the original crypts below St. Bride's Church, for a late lunch featuring artisan wines and sustainably sourced British ingredients. There will be plenty of opportunity to continue networking during and after the meal.
