BOSS Today: Issue 18
In this issue:
- We tell you about BOSS Outlook: this is a report on trends and quarterly forecasts for the industry, a new initiative by the BOSS Federation that was recently launched at the BOSS Members' Day.
- The fourth BOSS Members' Day took place in June at Stationers' Hall in London. Sean Starkey of Durable was elected as Vice Chairman of the BOSS Board, and we feature a 60 second interview with him.
- We also report on the Back To School period, looking at how it is performing in the current economic climate. A sub sector of this is the Back to College period, aimed at students.
- We also look at changes within the Facilities Management (FM) arena. Over the past few years there has been a significant shrinkage in demand for traditional office products. OP resellers and wholesalers are now searching for new product categories to suit their logistics and marketing models, and FM supplies is very much one of these.
- Among our broader features we take a look at BOSS Individual Membership: this is a separate individual membership for those individuals who need access to many of the key services offered by BOSS, but who are not corporate.
- Finally, we feature a roundup of the Bengolf event that took place recently at Wyboston Lakes in Bedfordshire. A great day was had by all and, more importantly, a record amount of money was raised for the BOSS Benevolent Fund.
