All about Langstane

Langstane is a family owned business founded in 1947 and has 3 Scottish locations, a head office located in Aberdeen and further branches in Dundee and Livingston. An annual turnover of over £18 million makes Langstane Scotland’s largest independent office products company and expect to be over £20 million by 2025.

There are 102 staff across the three branches covering all main categories of the business …office supplies, office furniture, print and promotional products, workplace solutions and healthcare products.

75 years in business was celebrated last year, and this milestone was reached by having great resilience, continually embracing change and exploiting many of the opportunities that have come along.

Growth and Achievements

Over the last couple of years there has been growth in all of categories, with the biggest growth in Office Furniture, particularly in the public sector. 

Langstane have recently retained No 1 status with NHS Scotland for Office Furniture and have also gained the No.1 status for Patient Care Furniture. A contract worth £20 million over a 4 year period!

Successful Shortlisting

Having entered the BOSS Awards many times over the years, our greatest achievement was winning the Dealer Excellence Award for 3 consecutive years from 2012 to 2014. For various reasons we haven’t entered since then, so we were long overdue having another go.

It means everything to be shortlisted as a finalist for this award as it recognises all the hard work and commitment of our people who are at the heart of everything we do.
