Join us to celebrate Yorkshire Day
Guests will enjoy a barbecue at the Blackburn Wing, an impressive venue in the heart of the estate's peaceful woodland. These surroundings provide an idyllic setting for the afternoon's inspiring talk and award presentations to outstanding young achievers.
A rare opportunity to enjoy the multi-award winning Blackburn Wing, a 2000 sq ft treehouse shaped like an airplane wing and nestled in ancient woodland at the heart of the Bowcliffe Estate. Designed and built with meticulous attention to detail, the copper and glass masterpiece pays tribute to aviation hero Robert Blackburn, who lived in Bowcliffe Hall and was a Yorkshireman who introduced the first scheduled air service in Great Britain and designed and built one of the first powered aeroplanes.
