uni-ball Announces Fund-Raising Partnership with GOSH Charity

Write. Give. Make a Difference

uni-ball is proud to announce its renewed partnership with Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity (GOSH Charity) that helps fund vital care for seriously ill children treated at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH).

From April, with every sale of the brand’s best-selling Eye Rollerball three- and five-pen GOSH Charity branded packs, uni-ball will donate 10p to GOSH Charity. This partnership aims to provide essential support for the vital work GOSH Charity does for children and their families at GOSH.

The Eye Rollerball, known for its smooth writing performance and iconic design, has been a customer favourite for years. Now, every purchase of Eye rollerball packs (carrying the GOSH Charity logo) will make a tangible difference to the lives of children and their families at GOSH. The money raised will help fund groundbreaking research, cutting-edge medical equipment, support services for children and their families and the rebuilding and refurbishment of hospital wards and buildings.

“We are thrilled to partner with Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity,” said John Allaway, Managing Director at uni-ball. “Our Eye rollerball pen inspires thought, creativity and expression, and we’re excited to turn that inspiration into tangible support for such an excellent cause. Every sale helps us make a positive impact for children who need it most.”

Building stronger communities

This collaboration reflects uni-ball’s ongoing commitment to giving back and building stronger communities. With the support of uni-ball Eye customers, the initiative is set to raise significant funds to benefit one of the UK’s most beloved and vital institutions.

This is a successful, tried and tested, partnership; uni-ball and GOSH Charity previously ran the initiative from 2016 to 2020 and raised nearly £300,000.

GOSH Charity’s Director of Fundraising Liz Tait, said: "We are delighted to be renewing our partnership with uni-ball and are hugely grateful for their continued support. It is thanks to partners like uni-ball and the generosity of their customers that we can go above and beyond to give seriously ill children at GOSH the best chance, and childhoods possible.”
